Glass Bottom Bridge In China



Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is glass bottomed bridge which is located in the mountainous province of Hunan in southern China.
It is basically designed for the attraction of tourists. This bridge when opened for tourists was longest and tallest glass bottomed bridge in the World.
This bridge was built in 2016 and its 430 Meters Long and 6 meters wide. This bridge is on the height of 1180 ft and has a carrying capacity of 800 people at a time.


There are 4 pillars on the edges of the walls of canyon. It has metal frames with more than 120 glass panels, each class panel is 3 layered and consists of 2 inch thick slab of tempered glass.
There are 3 long swings attached to the under side of the bridge.

Most Enticing thing is that there is a provision for making a bungee jump of 285 Meters. This is considered to be the highest such jump in the world.
